Biography
I grew up with Transformers, Robotech, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I became interested in developing video games when I played Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, and most specially Secret of Mana. After school, I didn't really start out where I really wanted to be.
Instead, I took it upon myself to combine two of my, at the time, biggest hobbies which were Blizzard Entertainment's RTS game; Starcraft, and the Japanese animation; Gundam. The result was a globally popular mod/total conversion for Starcraft called Gundam Century.
I got into the comic industry as a colorist working for the late Dreamwave Productions. This was my first, true experience working on huge licenses such as Mega Man, Maximo, Devil May Cry, Mega Man, and original IPs such as Warlands Age of Ice, Dark Minds Witchblade, and so forth. After leaving Dreamwave, I worked for a brief period on Lesean Thomas' Cannon Busters steampunk epic.
As I was a huge fan of video games, I then decided to truly venture into the industry which I really wanted to be in. I joined Threewave Software in January of 2006. First working on casual titles for the PC, I then began as a conceptual artist to work on titles for "next-gen" systems such as Xbox 360 and PS3. Such projects include Turok, Army of Two, Wolfenstein, and Ghostbusters.
Even though I've worked at many places and so many projects that I dreamed to work on in my childhood, I feel that I've only begun to tap what art and the world has to offer me. I can only imagine what fate might bring.
